Azerbaijanis signed false fraternization declaration with Hungary’s Gyöngyös city on behalf of Artsakh’s Shoushi

YEREVAN, MAY 30, ARMENPRESS: The Municipality of the Hungary’s Gyöngyös city and an Azerbaijani delegation on May 9 signed a false joint declaration on fraternization of Gyöngyös city with Shoushi. This was stated by the President of the Shoushi Benevolent Fund Bakur Karapetyan at the press conference held on May 30.

“From the first sight it is clear that the Azerbaijani propaganda worked here. They do not miss any chance to present the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and the Shoushi Fortress as theirs and declare that Armenians are aggressors”, - said Bakur Karapetyan, as reported by Armenpress.

“In one of the Azerbaijani websites this information is available and our Ministry does nothing on this case. I have sent an open letter to the Mayor of Gyöngyös Laszlo Farago, presenting all the necessary historical information concerning the abovementioned case”, - stated Bakur Karapetyan, adding that he invited the Mayor of Gyöngyös Laszlo Farago to Shoushi to establish real ties and friendly relations.
