Presentation of the “Iranian-Armenians’ Encyclopedia” took place in Tehran

YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS.The presentation of the Armenian version of the book “Iranian-Armenians’ Encyclopedia” by journalist Janet Lazaryan took place in Tehran in the frames of the international book exhibition projects. “Iranian-Armenians’ Encyclopedia” was published in Yerevan through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia and Embassy of Iran.

Armenpress reports that Dr Bahman Akbari delivered the opening speech of the presentation. Highly appreciating the role of Iranian-Armenians in the history of Iran, he mentioned that Iranian-Armenians and also the intellectuals of the country know well Janet Lazaryan and her activities.

Janet Lazaryan thanked Dr. Bahman Akbari and other representatives of the Organization of the Iranian Islamic Culture and Communication for organizing the presentation. She reminded that till now the activities of Armenians were not introduced in Iran at this scope. Lazaryan added that all the translation expenses were covered by the Iranian-Armenian benefactor Levon Aharonyan.
