Armenian minister meets with Askonas Holt CEO

Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan has met with Donagh Collins, Chief Executive of Askonas Holt, a leading international music management company.

Representatives of Askonas Holt are visiting Armenia for the grand opening of the 100th anniversary events of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, the ministry said in a press release. 

Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Eduard Topchyan and Director Norayr Nazaryan also attended the meeting.

The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between Armenia and Askonas Holt.

Andreasyan said the 100th anniversary of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra is a significant event and organizing a joint concert with Askonas Holt can be the beginning of a successful cooperation.

Donagh Collins presented the cooperation with various countries and also spoke about the Armenian artists of the company.

Possibilities of organizing joint educational programs and exchange of experience for the professional community was also discussed.

The May 14 concert at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra will kick off a series of concerts on the occasion. World renowned pianist Yuja Wang from Askonas Holt is the special guest of the concert.
