European Parliament deputies visited Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

YEREVAN, APRIL 30, ARMENPRESS: His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians hosted today the members of the delegation of the Conservatives and Reformists Party of the European Parliament at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, accompanied by the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alexander Arzumanyan. As Armenpress was reported by the Press Service of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, at the meeting the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians highlighted the importance of such meetings, which highly contribute to the strengthening of the EC-Armenia relations.

His Holiness Karekin II expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the deputies made in the direction of Armenia’s European integration.

His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians also answered the questions raised by the deputies of the Conservatives and Reformists Party of the European Parliament, which mainly related to the relations of the Armenian Church with the Sister Churches, the efforts of the spiritual leaders in the establishment of peace the region, as well as the role of the belief and the values in the life of the society.
