YEREVAN, APRIL 10, ARMENPRESS: US Alumni Association of Armenia, Stanford Armenian Students’ Association, HyeTechand the Armenian Association for Academic Partnership and Support (ARMACAD) organize the Stanford Armenian Students and Affiliates meeting at Stanford, reports Armenpress referring to ARMACAD website. At the meeting the potential of the Stanford and Bay Armenian Community in fostering the academic and economic development of Armenia and Armenians worldwide will be discussed. Thus, one of the goals of this meeting will be to find ways to include Stanford and Bay Armenians into the Union to form a strong and supportive community and network.
The meeting will be attended by Armenian hi tech community professionals, students and academics from wider Bay Area, Khachik Gevorgyan, the Director of ARMACAD and Mr. Tigran Sloyan, the founder and CTO of Yevista Inc.
The Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Dr. Ruben Melikyan, the President of Armenian Young Lawyers Association Mr. Karen Zadoyan, Armenian Entrepreneur, the founder and director of Armenian iBooks Dr. Ruben Mirakyan will join the gathering via Skype from Armenia.
Several Armenian scholars and professionals from UCLA, Berkeley and beyond will also join the meetinգ.
