Armavia promises to compensate money for canceled flights

YEREVAN, APRIL 2, ARMENPRESS:Armavia office in Nalbandyan Street began receiving the citizens affected by the cancelation of flights. This was reported to Armenpress by the Head of the Department for Reception of Citizens and Discussion of Petitions at the Government of the Republic of Armenia Alexander Ghazaryan.

Armenpress was informed by Armavia, that the citizens should not panic, as the money for all the tickets would be returned by all means. “First we will compensate the tickets bought online and then the ones, bought from Armavia office. The citizens, who purchased the tickets from other agencies, should again apply to those agencies to solve the problem”, - that was said from Armavia office.

Earlier citizens applied as well to the Human Rights Defender’s office. “As the issue is urgent, we will response as soon as possible”, - we were told at the office.

Armavia canceled the flights from April 1 2013 and began bankruptcy process.
