Vrezh Galstyan, wounded near National Assembly, taken to court

YEREVAN, MARCH 25, ARMENPRESS. 25-year old Vrazh Galstyan, who was previously wounded near the National Assembly, has already been taken to the court. The Chief Physician of Yerevan Clinical Hospital No 1 Karen Sahakyan stated this in a contestation with "Armenpress". According to him he has no information about the court the later was taken to. He stated that the reason was the necessity of obligatory treatment. Among other things the doctor noted: "He really needs obligatory treatment, as the citizen's behavior was really terrible and for this reason he must be taken to a psychiatric institution." In addition he underscored that Vrezh Galstyan made a lot of noise, didn't listen to the doctors, and tried to escape.

The knifeman wounded near the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, 25-year old V. Galstyan from Masis, was shot in the leg while trying to intrude the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on March 22. The security service shot into the air to stop him, but when the intruder tried to move on, he was shot in the leg. The nurse of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia took care of the first aid before the Ambulance arrived at the spot. When the knifeman was asked about his identity he stated that he is Jesus Christ.
