Doing Business: Venezuelan-Armenian businessman does not complain on lack of success

The small-to-medium business is of a certain importance for the steadfast economic growth of a country, as it gives innovational impulses to the economy. "Armenpress" News Agency highly appreciates the significant role the small-to-medium business plays; each week "Armenpress" introduces business stories regarding various branches of economy. This time the article is dedicated to the story of a businessman who moved to Armenia from Venezuela and initiated production of household utensils and pushed forward his own family brand.
YEREVAN, MARCH 7, ARMENPRESS. Kaltajyan Company can be called a family business. Sargis Kaltajyan is on the helm of the company and runs the company by the help of his relatives and due to their direct participation. The company produces Osio household utensils.
55-year old Sargis Kaltajyan's business story started in 33 years ago in Latin America. Kaltajyan owned a shoe factory in Venezuela. The idea of moving to Armenia came to his mind 1,5 years ago, when the situation became worse. Due to the support of his uncle's sons and grandsons he established his own business in Armenia. Among other things Kaltajyan noted: "First we used to import goods from Turkey. But finally we said why we should bring goods from Turkey and contribute to Turkey. We have a production here.
