YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. Pope of Rome Benedict XVI will continue wearing white cassock after resignation as before. The Pope's brother Monsig. Georg Ratzinger, who is a conductor of chorus in Regensburg, stated this in an interview published in German Passauer Neuen Presse portal.
Georg Ratzinger highlighted: "Surely my brother will keep wearing the white cassock." In addition he noted that he became Pope of Rome and will remain Pope for ever.
Besides the Pope’s brother expressed conviction that Benedict XVI will keep his present name and will not start using his former name again. His baptism name was Joseph. Georg Ratzinger confessed that during their last conversation the Pope told him that he is not absolutely aware how he should be called after the resignation and that the experts of canonical right should take up that issue.
