The Armenian National Committee of America welcomes  Zareh Sinanyan running for   Glendale City Council

YEREVAN, JANUARY 12, ARMENPRESS: Board of Directors of the Armenian National Committee of America welcomes the news of Zareh Sinanyan submitting his candidacy for Glendale City Council. Sinanyan, who resigned his position as treasurer of the ANCA-WR Board earlier this week, launched his campaign on Thursday morning. As Armenpress reports, Sinanyan served on the ANCA-WR Board for over two years. He had previously served on the executive boards of ANCA local chapters in Burbank and Glendale.

''Zareh has served the ANCA and our community faithfully and honorably over the many years of his selfless service.His departure is a loss for our organization but we understand and fully support his decision to take this exciting next step and we believe that the City of Glendale and its citizens are fortunate to have a dedicated public servant like Zareh running to represent them in the upcoming elections'' said ANCA-WR Co-Chair Nora Hovsepian.

The Glendale City Council election is scheduled on April 2, 2013.
