It's necessary to change Georgians' opinion on Nagorno Karabakh conflict

YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, ARMENPRESS. Due to the propaganda of Baku the Georgian society thinks equally about Nagorno Karabakh, Abkhazia and Ossetia. Political scientist Alexander Manasyan announced this during the press conference held on January 8, while commenting on the famous announcements of Georgian Patriarch Ilia II. The political scientist laid a heavy emphasis on the significance of the Armenian side's activity aimed to change this united perception of the issues. As reports "Armenpress" Manasyan stated: "We must detach this issues from each other via official diplomatic, and advocating means."

The political scientist highlighted that Baku has adopted the policy of falsification and misinformation decades ago. Alexander Manasyan put forward three versions regarding the announcements by Ilia II. The most probable version is that the Georgian Patriarch did not say anything or said something very distant, which was distorted by the Azerbaijani side. Among other things Alexander Manasyan underscored: "Azerbaijan's goal was to put Georgia on the spot and spoil the Armenian-Georgian relations." In Alexander Manasyan's opinion the policy of falsification and misinformation adopted by the Azerbaijani side is among the most difficult problems.
