"End of the world" has been postponed

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. The attitude towards "the end of the world" differs from one country to other. As reports "Armenpress" citing international media, Argentine burglars have robbed a number of markets. In a row of regions they initiated riots and the police did not manage to stop mass disturbances. The citizens claimed on the Government to raise social maintenance advancing New Year and when they received a negative answer the situation slipped out of control.
Notwithstanding, "the end of the world" prophesied by the Mayas for December 21, 2012 has been canceled. World astronomical giant NASA also touched upon the issue of the end of the world and underscored that nothing will happen. In accordance with the words of the NASA Spokesman Dwayne Brown the agency spared no effort to prove that the world will not be destroyed on December 21.
The Armenian astronomers and priests also claim that the rumors about the end of the world are not based upon actual facts. During the last 12 years there have been 5 predictions about the end of the world and none of them turned out to be true.
