Armenian President participated in the meeting of CIS Heads of States in Ashgabat and had meeting with Vladimir Putin

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President who is currently in Turkmenistan with a working visit participated in session of Council of CIS Heads of States held in Ashgabat.
As Armenpress was informed from the Armenian presidential press office Heads of States had discussed and accepted about 20 documents concerning the deepening of cooperation in economic and humanitarian spheres as well as the security ensuring. It was decided to hold the next summit of CIS Heads of States in Minsk on October 2013. CIS presidency passed on to Belarus Republic.
In frames of the summit which took place in Ashgabat, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a short meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Heads of States discussed a number of issues concerning Armenian-Russian strategic relations.
