Knowledge of law grows in Armenia: Gagik Harutyunyan

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. There is a growth of the knowledge of law and the professional qualities of the lawyers in Armenia. This assessment has been made by the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia Gagik Harutyunyan during the discussion entitled "the Participation of the Third Party in Intergovernmental and International Trials: Culture of Introducing and Future Developments of Amicus Curiae in Armenia". As reports "Armenpress" Gagik Harutyunyan stated: "There is both palpable professional growth particularly among the lawyers in Armenia, and knowledge of law in accordance with the European Standards."
In frames of the event the participants introduced and discussed a number of written arguments of the Research and Analysis Centre of the Chamber of Advocates submitted to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia in 2012.
The Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia Ara Zohrabyan, the OSCE Human Rights Officer Vladimir Chuntulov, representatives of the judicial system, the Office of the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia, public and international organizations, as well as other distinguished guests partook in the aforesaid discussion.
