Armenpress reports that before the premier of the film which was an international project a press conference took place during which producer of the film noted that the idea of shooting such film appeared back in 2007.

“I wanted to shoot such a film which would be not only about Armenians, Armenian issues but also an international project. Finally in a few years finding some financial support we were able to implement the project” he said. In his words the film was shot in 2011in Armenia and USA. Armenian scenes were shot in a small and active Armenian village and the American ones in San Diego. The film is about a US Senator's son (Jaime Kennedy) who attempts to forget the breakup of his fiancée and is forced to vacation in Turkey by his best friends. A para-sailing trip mishap lands him in a small village in Armenia, where he is accused of being a spy. It is there he meets a young woman (Angela Sarafyan) who helps him to escape from misfortune.

“Everyone watching the film will understand that our goal was to shoot a comedy understandable for all ages. Our dream came true” said co-producer of the film Maral Jerejian.

Though Kirakosian didn’t announce the budget of the film he noted that it was sponsored by individuals from Armenia.
