Armenian woman wounded in Aleppo

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS: Armenian woman of middle ages has been wounded by a sniper in Nor Gyux district of Aleppo on November 19. As Armenpress was informed from the spokesman of Berio National Diocese Jirair Reisian the woman was hospitalized by the Armenian Emergency in Aleppo. Now she is under the supervision of the doctors. According to Reisian the area of National School N19, where the woman has been wounded, is a target of the snipers and one should be careful.

Referring to the current situation in Aleppo, Reisian noted that everything was calm and the number of the shootings had noticeably decreased, though the clashes were ongoing in the suburbs.

And what is connected with the Armenians kidnapped on October 29 on Beirut-Aleppo way, there is no information yet. From the 8 kidnapped Armenians only two of them have been freed.

More than 37 000 people have been killed, four dozen Armenians among them, during the Syrian clashes which started about 20 months ago.
