The explosions in the Armenian districts of Aleppo did not cause human casualties: Jirayr Reisian

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS. Previously the situation in the Armenian districts of Aleppo has been rather intense. The Press Secretary of the Armenian National Prelacy in Aleppo Jirayr Reisian informed "Armenpress" that the situation in Aleppo, particularly in the Armenian districts of New Village and Villaner was not peaceful. Although current situation in Aleppo is calm.

According to Reisian one bomb fell in the district of New Village and about 4-5 bombs fell near the Church of St. Theotokos and neighboring building in Villaner. Fortunately, the explosions did not cause human casualties, there has been only material damage – only several parts of the inhabitant construction and vehicles have been damaged.

As to the Armenians kidnapped in the road from Beirut to Aleppo on October 29, Reisian stated that in spite of all their efforts they do not possess any information about them.

Among other things the Press Secretary also noted that the parcels of the third humanitarian aid from Armenia to Syria are already being distributed to the people of both the Armenian and Arabian descend from Aleppo and other parts of Syria.
