Efforts to release kidnapped Armenians in the nearby territories of Aleppo are underway: Jirayr Reisyan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS: The overall situation in Aleppo Armenian populated and Christian districts is comparatively quiet. Yet the clashes are continuing in some districts, Berio National Primacy press secretary Jirayr Reisyan informed Armenpress. In the words of our compatriot in parallel with the prevailing a bit calmer situation people are in better mood, trying to turn to their normal life. According to Reisyan, efforts launched to release seven people captured in the nearby territories of Aleppo are underway.

Armed opposition gang had stopped Beirut-Aleppo ''Zeytuni Druz'' company civil bus in Allepo nearby Sarakeb city on October 29. Then they made the passengers to quit the bus and started to check it , after separated Christian passengers, released women and children yet kidnapped 11 passengers , 7 of which Armenians, 3 were Christian Arabs.
