“Banants” football club to aid Syrian Armenians

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 15, ARMENPRESS: “Banants” football club transferred 400 000 Armenian Drams to the fund for Syrian Armenians. As Armenpress was informed from the coach of “Banants” Rafael Nazaryan, the initiative to help the Syrian Armenians belonged to the club leadership. “Taking into account the current situation in Syria our club decided to lend a helping hand to Armenians living in Syria. More than 30 000 people have died in a result of Syrian clashes which last for more than 18 months.
