YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS: The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is in working visit to Shirak Province. The head of the country participated in the opening ceremony of newly built diversified Gyumry medical center, walked over hospital departments, got acquainted with the launched works and the facilities. President Sargsyan took part in foundation ceremony still launched in 2010, October 23, and in the course of the current year Shirak Province working visit Sargsyan attended newly built hospital construction site and familiarized with construction process .
In the words of Armenian Minister of Health Derenik Dumanyan the day was significant for all, the inauguration of Gyumry Medical Center was at last realized. ''It is unique in its nature, as it was not the reconstruction of the old existing Medical Center but establishment of new one ''. In the words of the Minister the Medical Center was saturated with modern equipment, modernized departments which will later on enable to perform difficult surgeries locally. Minister of Health also highlighted the importance of organizing trainings for the specialists in Armenia and abroad, Armenpress reports.
Gyumry Medical Center designing works were started in 2009 : in order to comply with the international standards Medical Center architectural design was reviewed by the international consultants, hospital architect and experts onplanning services. The construction declared its launch in 2010 September and on current moment the works are completely over.Renovation works pertain to the Center exterior area were embarked. New center is equipped with basic medical and diagnostic equipment. In the words of the head of the Medical Center Armen Iskandaryan the Center was provided with a range of equipment, unique in the area of Shiark Province. Particularly diagnostic department was saturated by relevant computerized modern equipments,the laboratory with immune fermentableanalyzer.
