YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS: Armenian national basketball federation joined the letter of complaint directed to European federation of basketball. Armenpress reports that the reason of the protest is that FIBA Europe has made several decisions which do not come from the interests of the organization. In the protest is mentioned that European federation basketball solves its problems taking into consideration narrow private interests which lays obstacles for the normal operation of the organization. The goal of the letter of complaint is to invite an out of turn conference and choose new president and members of FIBA-Europe Council. "Yes, there has been made such decision and Armenia also joined it. Personally the president of Armenian basketball federation Hrachya Rostomyan was involved in that process" Armenpress was informed about this from Armenian basketball federation. In order to find out some details we tried to contact with the president of the federation, minister of Sport and Youth affairs Hrachya Rostomyan but we were informed that the minister is on vacation. From 51 European basketball federations 27 have joined the letter of complaint. Among those countries are Austria, Russia, Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Armenia, Hungary and etc.
