102 years old Michigan woman still drives her 1930 Packard

YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS: At 102, Margaret Dunning is not only still driving, but she's doing it in her 1930 Packard roadster that she's owned for more than 62 years, reports Armenpress citing The USA Today.

"I drive it every month because a car should be kept active," says the Plymouth, Mich., woman , who is showing her car this weekend at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance near Carmel, Calif. "It's got a four on the floor so it has plenty of power."

She's a car collector, and the Packard, glistening beneath 22 coats of hand-rubbed lacquer, is one of six vehicles that she owns. Until a few years ago, she did her own car maintenance, including crawling underneath to change the oil. She's a little hazy about when she bought the car, saying simply that it was the 1940s.

Dunning estimates she had put 20,000 miles on the Packard over the years. And she's not done yet. Still spry, she says she has no plans to stop driving and no one has tried to take away the keys.
