Hranush Hakobyan participated in the Syrian Armenian children pastime

Yerevan, August 15, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan visited the Hankavan “Hasmik” camp on August 15 to meet with over 150 juniors and girls arrived from Aleppo who spend their summer holidays in their homeland. 120 Syrian Armenian children arrived from Damascus a few days ago and resting in the Hankavan “Lusabats” camp also visited the camp.
As “Armenpress” was informed by the Ministry’s Information and Telecommunication Department, the American Armenian philanthropist Hrayr Hovnanyan with his wife Anna Hovnanyan, Adviser of the Armenian Minister of Diaspora in the Armenian communities of Syria Lena Halajyan, artists were also present in the meeting.
The Armenian Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan greeted the young and assured that unforgettable and exciting days are expected and “returning home they will take the breath of the Fatherland, the strength of soil, warm and kind memories from the days passed in Armenia”.
Although we all live in different countries of the world, our home, our fatherland is Armenia, where you are always welcomed with love and warmness”, the minister stated.
The Syrian Armenian children recited, sang and danced under Armenian melodies. During the meeting Minister Hakobyan and the guests toured in the camp, talked with the children, got interested with their everyday life, got acquainted with their life and resting conditions and were in the rooms anticipated for the children.
