YEREVAN, AUGUST 9, ARMENPRESS: There is a spread opinion that the main characteristic feature of an accepted and beloved artist is honesty. And if an actor is able to make the distance between himself and audience to the minimum and destroy all obstacles it speaks about a real love towards him. A got sure in it when I talked with beloved and popular actor, satirist Vardan Petrosyan. Armenpress presents the passed way of the famous actor.
-How would you describe the theatre made by you?
- It is difficult to describe in one word. My theatre is a mix of many theatres: here exist French “café theatre”, “French Calare”, American show. They all exist in the world by in my performances there is always something like tragedy, historic excurse to the past, comparisons between past and present, drama, very strong speech which is born during the performance.
- In terms of mono performances it is usually said that for actor the stage becomes escape or solution. What does it become for you?
- For me the stage is a centre of the implementation of dreams, it is a golden cage where I feel myself as in space freedom; it is a little quadrate where I feel myself as in infinite space where I can always fly. I can lay on the stage and die with pleasure; I can kiss its ground as a woman without any shame. I am fond of the stage.
- Every time returning to Armenia what changes do you notice?
- I always try to find time to contact with people but it is very difficult to say which changes have taken place during these sixteen years. Both positive and negative changes always take place. This year I see that people are more downward. It is very important for me to comfort, encourage people during my performances but not with false ideas, promises: it is the work of policy. One must show ways in art, encourage.
- Do you have any ideas for the next year?
- There are a few ideas which fight inside me. There are always three-four programs and one of them unexpectedly wins. I can not speak a concrete thing.
