Armenian Government to pay for the rest of 100 veterans

YEREVAN, AUGUST 7, ARMENPRESS: In order to organize the rest and rehabilitation treatment of 100 veterans of Great Patriotic War will be allocated 12000000 AMD from Armenian state budget. Armenpress reports that this issue is in the agenda of Government’s session on August 9. By the project is planned to solve the issues concerning giving tour packages to resort and vacation houses.

The President of the Union of Veterans of Armenia Simon Esayan during the talk with Armenpress mentioned that such decision made by Government is very commendable and good for veterans. “We received tour packages in 2010 too but last year we did not have such package tours. The tour packages given by the Government we will distribute between veterans living in different cities” mentioned Esayan.

Taking into consideration the earnings of the veterans of great Patriotic War, their age and their health it is suggested by the decision to buy 100 tour packages which will have both social and mental meaning.

In the Republic of Armenia at this moment live 2800 veterans of Great Patriotic War.
