“Let’s dance together”: each Sunday toung people of Gyumri learn national dances

Gyumri, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS: Students of Gyumri try themselves to make their everyday life more interesting. In efforts of “Active student movement” organization and young people of the social-educational centre of Shirak episcopate is implemented the program “Let’s dance together”. In the framework of the program each Sunday near Holy Mary Church of Gyumri are held open-air lessons of national and ethnographic dances for everyone who wants to take part. The lessons are accompanied by introduction of the dances.

“This imitative has the aim not only to make the population closer to national culture but also to unite the nation. Each Sunday in the evenings we invite all residents of Gyumri to join us and learn to dance together. The program will be continued as long as the weather conditions let us. We also plan to teach dances of other nations” said the responsible person of the youth department of the social-educational centre of Shirak episcopate Sarine Asatryan.
