Edward Nalbandyan invited his French colleague to Armenia

Yerevan, July 25, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan during his working visit to Paris invited his French colleague Laurent Fabius to Armenia. As “Armenpress” reports calling Nouvelles d’Armenie, among other things, the two Foreign Ministers discussed issues on the adoption of the bill criminalizing denial of the Armenian Genocide in France. Laurent Fabius confirmed the French President François Hollande’s perseverance in the pro-bill issue.
The Ministers also discussed issues on the Armenia-EU relations and programs implemented within the framework of these issues, exchanged views on the Armenian-French cooperation and touched upon the activity of the Francophone International Organization.
Edward Nalbandyan and Laurent Fabius also discussed regional issues of the South Caucasus and the Middle East. In relation to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement the Armenian Foreign Minister expressed his high appreciation to France for its positive engagement in this issue as an OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair.
