YEREVAN, JULY 23, ARMENPRESS: The session of Foreign affairs ministers’ council of Eastern Partnership member countries which took place on July 23, adopted conclusions consisting of 9 points. Armenpress was informed press office of European service of foreign relations that representatives of several European institutions, particularly European commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule were present at the session. Armenia, Belarus and Ukraine were represented by foreign ministers Edward Nalbandian, Sergey Martinov and Constantin Grishchenko. Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Foreign minister Mahmud Mammad-Guliev, Georgia and Moldova by Vice Prime Ministers Georgi Baramidze and Yurie leansa. The session was chaired by High representative of EU for foreign affairs and security policy Catherine Ashton.
In the ministerial conclusions there was a reverberation to the progress achieved by each country in the framework of Eastern Partnership. Particularly in the 6th point is mentioned that in bilateral relations with EU Ukraine has achieved good results. ”In the negotiations with Armenia, Georgia and Moldova on the Deep and Comprehensive Trade Associative Agreement as been achieved good progress and with Azerbaijan the negotiations are still in process” is mentioned in the conclusion.
It is stressed that with Armenia and Azerbaijan are held negotiations on Visa facilitation and readmission. EU has suggested also Belarus to hold negotiations on this issue.
