YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS: Music is inconceivable, incomprehensible phenomena accompanying us during our daily life. It follows us during happy moments; the faithful friend of us does not leave us when we are in despair. It is a well-known phrase, to try to speak about the music stands for to try to dance about the architecture.
Armenpress reporter had an interview with world known Armenian composer Tigran Mansuryan, a great maestro, who has created music of indescribable depth and purity.
-Maestro, do you remember you on the stage for the very first time, which work it was?
-We are going to speak about the distant past, the composer joked. In 1965 I graduated Komitas State Conservatory and in 1967 I graduated postgraduate PhD. Nahapet Kuchak’s four hayrenners, one of my PhD works were the first I presented to the judgment of the audience. In those years they have received considerable attention and are performed up to day with the same success.
-When did you get acquainted with the piano for the first time, which later became your faithful friend?
-I t was earlier. I was thirteen, when for the very first time I saw piano in Artik workers’ club. Since then I kept going there, even on the holiday days, when the club was close, I knew how to enter from the window. I learnt the notes for myself, it was quite a hard work. Till today the same difficulties I cross to overcome in my life.
-What was the secret of your charm and success?
-I do not think that I have had success in my life. I was hard worker, I enjoyed whatever I did. I thank the God for each and every day of life, for the pleasure moments that I accoutered in my life, for the great sufferings as well. I thank for the all.
