Germany waits for his opponent in semifinal

YEREVAN, JUNE 22, ARMENPRESS: In the second ¼ final of EURO 2012 National football team of Germany played against National team of Greece.

Armenpress reports unexpectedly Germany entered into the field four young players. At the starting minutes of the match Germans managed to score a goal but the referee had registered offside.

The German players were dominating in the field but they did not manage to open the score. Greeks were defending enough well. At the 27th minute of the match Mesut Ozil had a good chance but again could not score a goal. At the 39th minute the captain of German national team Philippe Lahm opened the score.

At the beginning of the second half Germany had a great advantage. At the 55th minute of the match Greece organized a quick counterattack and scored the response goal. The author of the goal was Georgios Samaras. After that the situation in the field did not change. The ball was almost totally under the control of German national team. At the 61st minute Semi Hedira scored the second goal of Germany.

A few minutes later Miroslav Kloze who was playing his 121st match for Germany scored the third goal of his team.

At the 74th minute Marco Reus made the score 4:1. At the last minutes of the match Greeks were only able to score one goal making the final score – 4:2.

Germany will play in the semifinal against the winner of the couple Italy – England.
