RPA slogan was not understood and turned into the play of words

YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS. Republican Party convention was a unique account referring to the party activities as well as dwelling on foreign and domestic policy. Hovhannes Sahakyan, MP from RPA faction told the journalists on March 13 that Armenian-Turkish relations, Armenian Genocide recognition, Nagorno Karabakh issue were the stone corners of the convention, Armenpress reports. ''All the statements were quite bold and underlined the particular sense of responsibility'' Sahakyan stated.

Referring to the slogan "To Believe, to Change'' MP stated that the press did not take it profoundly and turned it into play on words. ''In reality the idea of the slogan is deeper.'' We believed and got independence,'' Sahakyan underlined. In his words slogan is stipulated to all and comes forth to form new political culture. International society expects more than a few years ago.

RPA thirteenth convention took place on March 10. President Serzh Sargsyan made a report. New Executive Body and Council were elected; they enlarged their staff and held the first sessions.
