Armenia’s opposition demands passing to 100% proportional system

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 28, ARMENPRESS: Representatives of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Armenian National Congress and Heritage party gathered today at the building of the National Assembly demanding passing to the 100% proportional system.

"Passing to the proportional system will promote the increase of trust among the people," representative of the ARF Armen Rustamyan said.

Leader of the "Heritage" party Raffi Hovhannissyan said, "If we want our citizens feel themselves owners of the country the NA must discuss the issue on passing to proportional system. Today's discussion will decide what elections we will have. We are going to fight till the end," Hovhannissyan noted.
