First meeting of Euronest Parliamentary Assembly outside EU countries to be held in Yerevan

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 21, ARMENPRESS: The Committee on Social Affairs, Education, Culture and Civil Society of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly will hold a meeting February 22-23 in Yerevan, parliament's press service told Armenpress.

It is the first time that the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly holds a meeting outside the European Parliament. This is an important achievement. This is the result of the team work of the Armenian delegation at Euronest Parliamentary Assembly and cooperation with EU advisory group to Armenia.

The Euronest Parliamentary Assembly is the parliamentary component of the Eastern Partnership. It consists of members of theEuropean Parliament and Parliaments of Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
