Armenia’s President participates in foundation laying ceremony of “Noyan” plant

YEREVAN, JANUARY 13, ARMENPRESS: President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan participated in the foundation laying ceremony of the "Noyan" fruits and vegetables processing plant in the Vanand community of Baghramyan region. The leader of the country was presented the results of the activity of the company and the development programs of the company in that territory.

"There are big farms in Vanand territory ready to supply us with necessary raw materials," executive director of "Euroterm" company Edik Ghazaryan said. "Noyan" fruits and vegetables processing plant belongs to "Euroterm" company founded in 1998.

The total cost of the program of construction of the plant amounts to 2.5-3.5 USD. The plant will ensure jobs for 50 people. The construction will be completed in July-August of the running year. For its construction "Euroterm" company acquired 130 ha of territory.

The products of the plant are being exported and like Edik Ghazaryan noted, the interested toward Armenian products in very big.

The plant will have an opportunity to process 150 tons of fruits and 60 tons of concentrates a day. During the season it may get 7500 tons of finished product.
