December 6 is the Day of Commemoration of Women Died as a Result of Violence. The women rights' center is getting prepared for this day.
In the sidelines of the day, "For the Sake of Life" film will be shown where histories of five different women will be presented.
"The film lasting 25 minutes will once again remind the present about the issues of the women that underwent violence. The film is about violence but it does not show violence scenes," Diana Sargsyan, public relations responsible of the center, told Armenpress.
During the presentation of the film white ribbons will be distributed with which the men will show their denial to the violence against women and will pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the gender violence.
December 8 and 9 professional and amateur photographers will display their photos on this topic at the exhibition in the Union of Armenian Artists entitled "Happy Family". A jury of specialists will hand money awards to the authors of best three photos.
