YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS:
Luckily, thanks God, Iran and Armenia do not have any issues, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi told at a joint news conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian. "We are planning to develop and expand more bilateral relations," he stressed, adding that according to presented statistical information the number of tourists visiting Armenia passes 100 thousand. "I hope the day will come when 1 million tourists will visit Armenia," Salehi said, expressing hope that non-visa regime will be established between the two countries.
He also highly rated the trade potential existing between the two countries and noted that it is not being fully used. "We hope the trade turnover between our countries will reach 300 million USD, this amount is not acceptable. Armenia has a big potential for exporting products to Iran, and we are willing to import these products," he said. According to him, the technical issues must be studied by specialists and experts.
