Arthur Javadyan says 2012 state budget reflects stability of macro-economic indexes

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS:

The program of the 2012 state budget is based on the core points of the program of mid-term expenditures and reflects the stability of macro-economic indexes, chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Arthur Javadyan said today at the budget discussions in the NA. At the same time he pointed out that it is the continuation of events implemented by the Armenian government for the promotion of economic growth.

According to him, continuing the implementation of events directed toward reduction of budget deficit it is planned to make the budget deficit in 2012 reach 3.1%. Such reduction will promote the ensuring of gradual reduction of the burden of state debt, the chairman of the Central Bank said.

Javadyan also informed that the state budget also intends a number of events directed toward improvement of income collection. As a result it will be possible to ensure 0.8% growth of tax incomes and social payments in the GDP.

"The efficiency of the budget expenses is also highlighted," Javadyan stressed.
