YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS:
The Armenian National Congress (ANC) has suspended the dialogue for unknown reasons, member of the Republican Party of Armenia, NA deputy Sukias Avetisyan told at a news conference, stressing that the authorities have not suspended the dialogue.
“The RPA has never thought that by suspending the dialogue it would win anything. The whole public, political field won with this dialogue,” Sukias Avetisyan said. According to him, the ANC’s demands connected with early parliamentary elections and resignation of the president are not understandable and are illogical for the RPA.
Leader of the Social-Democrat Hnchakyan party, representative of the ANC Lyudmila Sargsyan explained their demand of early parliamentary elections saying that the country’s future is connected with the conduction of fair, transparent elections. “In case of such elections, we are convinced, that the ANC will get a considerable number of votes, but we do not exclude the victory of the ruling coalition,” Lyudmila Sargsyan said, stressing that in that case they will admit the victory of authorities.
