YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, ARMENPRESS:
Armenia has implemented serious reforms for the improvement of business environment, deputy economy minister Karine Minasyan said, referring to the improvement of Armenia's position in Doing Business with 6 points.
She said in Doing Business in a More Transparent World report the accent is put on how much the state functions are becoming more transparent and available for businessmen.
Minasyan noted that a new index has appeared in the report – how fast and with what expenses business may join the electronic network.
The deputy finance minister Vardan Aramyan, speaking about changes in the law "About Income", noted that they have been assessed quite positively, improving Armenia's positions.
Karine Minasyan said Armenia's new program for Doing Business under the slogan "Toward Electronic Management" will be approved by the government during the coming two weeks. "As a result the contacts between state servicemen and business will be reduced and the services will be automated," Minasyan said.
