Republican candidate self-withdraws his candidacy

IJEVAN, OCTOBER 18, ARMENPRESS:

Candidate nominated for the post of mayor of Ijevan, head of the Ijevan office of the Republican Party of Armenia Artsruni Ghalumyan filed an application of self-withdrawal, an official from the electoral commission told Armenpress. As of today three people nominated their candidacies Vardan Ghalumyan, from the Prosperous Armenia Party, acting mayor Varuzhan Nersisyan and deputy mayor, non-partisan Karen Otaryan.

Varuzhan Nersisyan heads the community from 1999 and is nominated for the fifth time.
