Karen Giloyan: Even the Irish speak about replay of the match

The chief referee of Ireland-Armenia match, no matter how experienced he was, made unforgivable mistakes, which directly influenced the final result of the match, distinguished football player of "Ararat", USSR champion Sergey Poghsoyan told today a news conference, adding that it is a fact that Roman Berezovsky's red card was improper, and the decisions of the referee – suspicious in some episodes. "In any case, if we want to confirm that somebody has shown a partiality, we must have proofs for it. And that the referee conducted awful is unequivocal," he said.

Well-known football commentator Karen Giloyan agreed with this opinion. "He just broke the spirit our team with his wrong decisions," Karen Giloyan assured, adding that it is difficult to prove that the referee had entered the field with the intention to be biased from the very beginning.

"Speaking and wishing about replay of the match is from the land of fairytales. But I owe to inform that even the Irish speak about this, who are not against the replay and have voiced about it in some mass medias. They, too, became victims to such a senseless mistake some years ago," Karen Giloyan said.
