Economy Minister believes double digit economic growth to be registered in all the spheres by the end of the year

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS:
Double digit economic growth will be registered in all the spheres by the end of the year. It will serve as a serious ground for the development of economy, collection of budget incomes. It will give the government an opportunity to enter the 2012 confidently, Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan told a press conference followed the cabinet sitting today.
According to him, 12% economic growth has been registered in the sphere of industry. Such results are also expected by the end of the year. "The same is with agriculture, service sphere. The increase of the volume of export makes about 30% which is higher than the overall growth of the economy. We have serious progress in foreign investments sphere, these flows are 20% more as compared with the previous year. I think except the construction sphere where the general decline has not been overcome yet, in all other spheres we will have double digit growth", the minister of economy said.
According to him, it is also obvious that the tempo of inflation also reduces. "We are convinced that by the end of the year we will reach the figure intended by the state budget and macro-economic forecasts.
He said they are quite attentively following the developments in global economy. "We hope the global developments will have positive tendencies. We must be ready for any development. In this respect we have gathered enough experience and we know what to do in certain situations", Davtyan said.
