"The development of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh is a prior issue for us. Its economy must develop in high tempo", Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said today at the event dedicated to the 3d issue of shares of Artsakh Hydro Power Plant (HPP). "It is our strategy and political decision", the PM added.
According to him, the existence of electricity is of prior significance for us taking into consideration the geographical position of Artsakh. The prime minister convinced that Artsakh HPP will ensure continuative reliable income to the investors.
"The report about the carried out work witnesses about the efficiency. The HPP has worked transparently", he noted. The prime minister said the points of the concept are put mainly on the basis of energy resources and on the circumstance that in coming years high level of competitiveness will be ensured which means the attractiveness of the project will increase from year to year.
"Projecting this program in 2007 me made a brave step. Many did not believe that it is possible to organize public corporation in NK and have investors. Today it is a reality and we have more than 1000 investors who for already 2 years received profits", Tigran Sargsyan said.
