Sergey Minasyan: Adoption of Warsaw Declaration will mean a new period of cooperation with EU

Proclamation of Warsaw Declaration will mean a new period of cooperation of Armenia with European Union, Deputy Director of "Caucasus" institute, political specialist Sergey Minasyan told today a news conference, adding that adoption of the declaration will mean at least new financial support to Armenia, new policy related to the pass regime.

According to the political specialist, the provisions which directly or indirectly concern the regional conflicts are of great significance: the important provision for us is the one, where it is mentioned that the negotiation process and regulation must take place within the already existing formats.

The political specialist said that the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are more attentive to the issue of not resuming of new military activities. "In the recent period the tension has quite decreased, the reason is that Baku has realized that all the levies of change of the status-quo have almost expired, there is both a military-technical and military-political balance, which we witnessed during the September 21 parade," the speaker said, noting that some states, especially Russia, showed that they are against resuming of military operations.
