UN corner in Goris

GORIS, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS:

The second UN corner after Kapan opened yesterday in Syunik. It is already the 6th corner of the organization in Armenia. This unique library which contains rich information on the UN will work at "Goris Women Resource Center" NGO. According to Chairperson of this organization Ruzanna Torozyan, the newly-opened corner also presents big interest for young people and representatives of the NGO. "Here they can receive large-scale information on UN merits, and works implemented by the organization. It will also serve as a basis for organization of cultural, educational and other events concerning the UN for different classes of society," Ruzanna Torozyan told Armenpress' correspondent.

After the opening ceremony of the UN corner in Goris, in which representative of UN Department of Public Information Maria Dotsenko participated, a round table was held with participation of representatives of the community, responsible entities of the province and young activists, during which issues concerning the UN were discussed.
