Davit Jamalyan: Provision of our people’s peace is the biggest achievement of Armenian army

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS: Provision of peace for our people is the biggest achievement of the Armenian army during the 20 independent years of Armenia, military expert Davit Jamalyan told Armenpress, referring to recent 20 years' achievements of the RA Armed Forces.

Among the achievements of the RA Armed Forces Davit Jamalyan singled out the introduction of the contractual military service institute. "In case of full consolidation of that system we will not have problems in international relations. That system is in consolidation phase today, and we should take measures in future to promote its consolidation," the military expert said.

According to him, today we have an army which is in reforms and in which attempts are made to introduce elements of western model, an institute of civil servants, which promotes productivity increase of the management.
