Prices for certain products go down in August

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS:

As compared with July in August the number of prices and tariffs reduced by 0.6%, Gurgen Martirosyan, head of the price statistics and international correlations department of the RA Statistical Service told at a news conference today, adding that the prices for food products reduced by 1.2%.

He said in August the prices for bread products reduced by 1.5%, prices for eggs by 0.8%. According to him, the prices for fruits reduced by 15.6% and for vegetables and potato by 4.9. In parallel to it the prices for certain agricultural products have gone up.
