Prime Minister attends opening of a Vanadzor school

VANADZOR, AUGUST 31, ARMENPRESS:
Festive mood was dominating today in the court of Vanadzor's Stepan Zoryan school: on the threshold of the Day of Knowledge the newly reconstructed building of the school opened today. The school was reconstructed with the assistance of the "Lincy" Foundation which allocated 467 million AMD. The school now has a gym, a hall for festive events and a new boiling-house.
It has already been furnished and equipped with computers.
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, accompanied with the governor of Lori Arthur Nalbandyan, Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan came to congratulate teachers, pupils, parents. Primate of the Gugarats Diocese of the Armenian Church Archbishop Sepuh Chuljyan, director of the agency implementing programs of the "Lincy" foundation Hrayr Sargsyan, mayor of Vanadzor Samvel Darbinyan were also among the attendees.
Davit Melkonyan congratulated the children on the launch of the new academic year, thanked the foundation and the government for the assistance.
Tigran Sargsyan joined the congratulations and warm wishes saying that school building remains a priority for the government.
