Seyran Ohanyan Says Military Parade Not an Indicator of Military Readiness

YEREVAN, AUGUST 30, ARMENPRESS: On September 21 we will present to the public our achievements of the 20 years, RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan said today at a briefing.

As to the query whether the September 21 military parade will be a response to the July 26 parade in Baku, the minister said a military parade is not an indicator of the military readiness of the armed forces: "we showed it during the Artsakh War." The minister says they always tend to raise the military readiness of the soldiers.

The minister also touched upon the spiritual service at the Armed Forces and said he emphasizes the spiritual service in terms of military upbringing. He informed that regiment of clergymen will partake in the September 21 military parade.
