Charles Aznavour’s Paris concert to be dedicated to 20th anniversary of RA independence

The 20th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Armenia will be celebrated in abroad as well. All diplomatic representatives of Armenia have organized big receptions, concert programs, and exhibitions. Vigen Sargsyan, deputy head of the presidential staff, chief coordinator of the events dedicated to 20th anniversary of independence, in today's interview with journalists pointed out the series of concerts of Armenia's youth orchestra during those days in Belgium, Germany and Holland. "Exhibitions of young photographers and painters is also intended abroad," he said.

The special concert of world-known composer and singer Charles Aznavour in "Olympia" concert hall, Paris, will be dedicated to 20th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Armenia, too.

Vigen Sargsyan said that videos summarizing the activity of the departments will soon be broadcasted on television. Referring to the question whether visits of state heads to Armenia are expected Mr. Sargsyan said that no special invitation on the occasion of the anniversary has been sent to anybody. "We do not expect visit of head of any state," he noted
